A crucial and on-going battle around health freedom and the autonomy of physicians was being fought in a corner of Maine this afternoon. How will the evidence be weighed?
The board is acting out of purely stubborn hubris. If the reputation of medicine and the profession hasn’t been damaged enough in the last few years these clowns take disgrace to an entirely new level.
Meryl and I have discussed on many occasions that the true power is not the state medical boards. She is up against the 1912 Federation of State Medical Boards in Euluss Tx who control and direct all State boards and many international like ours here in New Zealand.
Thank you for writing about this. I have been tracking this story, and I agree that it is relevant for the whole field of medicine, but at the same time, almost all of our colleagues have theirs heads in the sand.
I was on the Libertarian Party of Oregon's public policy board when we organized a "public comment a-thon" in support of Dr. Paul Thomas, also a CHD contributor, before the Oregon Medical Board. The LP has been trying to raise awareness of the problems of professional licensing regimes ever since our party was founded. In Oregon, you can't even get a public hearing or call witnesses, and there is no appeal to the courts. In medicine, there is a globalist conspiracy going back to the Rockefeller Foundation to turn practitioners into automaton technicians and most medical boards were enacted under a model law written by the Rockefellers to enforce a "standard of care" that is deliberately harmful. Doctor training is deliberately designed to curb critical thinking and to blind physicians from iatrogenic morbidity and mortality.
Thank you for your work out there. I agree with a lot of what you are saying. I think the “standard of care” concept emerged from an effort to protect patients from clearly negligent care but has since been distorted and over emphasized allowing more control from the top down. This in turn encourages doctors to turn off their minds and turn on their smart phones to get the latest “guidelines “. It’s been a gradual erosion until the advent of “evidence based medicine” when things got moving much more quickly. EBM lets the data tricksters have their way.
Didn’t Trump do an executive order that allowed doctors the right to treat as they deemed best for their patients or did Fauci get that rescinded? Sadly one of the main reasons the pro vax people discounted HCQ was because Trump suggested it could work. If Biden had said what Trump did they would have lined up at pharmacies everywhere. Funny too how Biden and Harris said that they wouldn’t take the vaccine because Trump was involved in it and they didn’t think it was safe. This just shows how fck’d up this debacle was.
Doctors have always been allowed to do what they want. All that is required is that they are in good standing with their board of medicine. This is why Meryl’s fight is so important. The FSMB is an entity that is clearly being influenced by powerful forces that also exert their influence over the FDA and CDC. Although it may seem that the medical boards and the FDA are in agreement, they are actually both being controlled from behind the scenes.
Every doctor should be supporting Dr. Nass, whether they agree with her or not.
Has anyone one here looked into the Dr. Tom Cowan or Dr. Albert Kaufman into the ‘isolation’ of cov-2? The ‘Terrain Theory’? Dr. Judy Minkovitz got her ass handed to her when trying to confirm the isolation of HIV just wondering?
