“In my view we need peace most importantly and my basic point is there are no deep reasons for conflict anywhere. Every conflict I study is a mistake.” -Jeffrey Sachs
> Some will complain that all this has been obvious.
>I would agree. However it hasn’t been obvious to many
>who sat among Sachs’ influential audience.
Yes, Sachs has said things belatedly that you and I have been saying for several years. The significance is that he is an entrenched insider, and entrenched insiders seldom drop truth bombs.
I agree that we can't trust him. Maybe he has had a change of heart. Maybe he has been assigned a role as controlled opposition. We on the outside cannot know.
Certainly, Sachs is a thorn in the side of Democratic and Republican policy leaders alike. What will they do with his message?
I agree, entrenched insiders seldom drop truth bombs. These are pretty big ones that he is dropping and it really doesn't matter where his loyalties are. His message is getting play all over the world.
There is bound to be that first public figure to bravely and publicly declare the official 9/11 narrative to be nonsense, and Sachs would be as good a candidate as any. He has been a heroic voice of reason in the last few years, since his eyes were opened by witnessing the lies of Fauci and Daszak. I think it's wise to be charitable to those who may have not been fully aware of the corruption and insanity but now stand with us. Let the resistance be a big tent.
Wow, thank you for posting. Madhava your stuff is always good. I listened to Sachs whole talk. It is good how clearly he explains what the US is up to and has been up to for 30 years. I will forward this to a friend. Whether she reads it who knows.
In spite of his bonafides and breadth of experience, he is wrong right off the bat. Conflicts are not born of a “mistake”. They are born of greed, plain and simple. One group or person wants what another person or group has and sets about to take it either politically, economically, or by force. See, I just saved myself a boatload of tuition.
In the interest of clarity, he didn't open with that statement, he closed with it. And I would argue that starting a conflict for greed is, in fact, a mistake.
(I'm going to frame this first by saying I am on the side of critical thinking, clarity and accurate information. Anyone who frames my response as taking sides is doing so through their filter, not mine.)
1. Trusting information, or better yet your personal ability to discern completeness and accuracy of information, through critical thinking and asking questions, and making educated decisions about sources, is definitely better than trusting a person as source of that information.
2. Everything you have said about Sachs suggests he is absolutely not a good source of information! He has an agenda. Questioning his motives is a good idea, as you have done to a point.
"Is he playing both sides?" is a good question. "Is he playing his own side", which you didn't ask, is probably a better question. Will we ever know the truth or even a significant part of it?
Perhaps in a new investigation of 9/11 but not the bigger picture of geopolitics he is playing unless both of us do some very deep high level, then deep level research. Until then, agreeing with his views that make Israel (I mean Netanyahu and his leadership/government) a war criminal is cherry picking when to agree and when not to agree. It would be more useful to hold back judgement and do more digging rather than using him as the only source for everything he is saying.
If no time before, COVID was the time to learn the hard lesson that trusting one source for anything is life threatening to say the least.
3. Using the word "Israel" or whatever country, instead of "Netanyahu" or better "government", implies that the whole country is at fault, which implies all of the nations people, which leads to generalizations that stoke the (current) fires of division and hatred for a whole country and in fact Jews everywhere, not just Israeli's.
4. Odigo in 2001 was an American company, not an Israeli one. You know that, or I assume you read the article you quote, in fact because the article you refer to by Haaretz says so and 30 seconds more research on the internet confirms it.
Anyone can look it up. It's interesting because most people don't do research, they just trust "you", which is counter to point (1), which it seems we both agree on. The way you lean in and word your article, are you wanting to misinform people and skew their view on Israel on purpose? Netanyahu, like Trudeau, like Biden, etc are not leaders for the people. But I wouldn't blame all Canadians, for example, for a government policy to turn those who didn't take the vaccine into lepers. I would blame Trudeau, and the leader of WEF Klaus Schwab, and the WHO directors, and their primary funder Bill Gates (and formerly Biden before Trump stopped funding the organization and left the WHO recently).

Odigo, the instant messaging service, says that two of its workers received messages two hours before the Twin Towers attack on September 11 predicting the attack would happen, and the company has been cooperating with Israeli and American law enforcement, including the FBI, in trying to find the original sender of the message predicting the attack.
Micha Macover, CEO of the company, said the two workers received the messages and immediately after the terror attack informed the company's management, which immediately contacted the Israeli security services, which brought in the FBI.
"I have no idea why the message was sent to these two workers, who don't know the sender. It may just have been someone who was joking and turned out they accidentally got it right. And I don't know if our information was useful in any of the arrests the FBI has made," said Macover.
(***********) Odigo is a U.S.-based company whose headquarters are in New York, with offices in Herzliya.
As an instant messaging service, Odigo users are not limited to sending messages only to people on their "buddy" list, as is the case with ICQ, the other well-known Israeli instant messaging application.
(******) Odigo usually zealously protects the privacy of its registered users, said Macover, but in this case the company took the initiative to provide the law enforcement services with the originating Internet Presence address of the message, so the FBI could track down the Internet Service Provider, and the actual sender of the original message.

5. It is well documented information that US President George Bush was in contact with several Arab nations and in fact flew some out that day jjust before and after the 9/11 morning events. There is no evidence, at least that I know of from extensive research at the time, that he was in contact with Israel (or should I say so I'm not a hypocrite, any Israeli government official such as Netanyahu in the way he was with the Muslim nations). No doubt, as is happening now with the US, Saudi, Jordan, and Israel, there are many geopolitical events we are not privy to.
6. Also from research and several documentaries on the topic, the US (government and perhaps country) had much to gain as well from 9/11. In the same documentaries that confirmed the elevators in the buildings had maintenance not long before 9/11. It is misdirecting to suggest that ONLY Israel had anything to gain from 9/11. There is also a big difference between gaining on purpose (ie - part of the problem or having caused it) and gaining by circumstance (ie - simply gaining from circumstance).
I could go on but there is too much to unpack. I think some points are made. More discernment and concern for unity over divisiveness is paramount. When all fingers point in one direction, it's even more important to look around and see what we are being manipulated to ignore.
You make some reasonable points, however I would disagree with a lot of your comments.
1) "Everything you have said about Sachs suggests he is absolutely not a good source of information!"
Really? Everything? Absolutely? I have said that he is an internationally recognized scholar on certain topics, the recipient of international awards and the author of numerous books.
Is that why he is not a good source of information? Or is that a reason why we should take a moment to consider what he is saying?
I think he is an excellent source of the most salient information in this particular talk because it is backed up the historical record which he encourages us all to use. My only point is that one doesn't have to trust him. As always, verify for yourself. I cited the National Security Archive as well as the white paper for completeness. Did he misrepresent his own sources? I read them before writing this essay. Please let me know what I have missed.
2) "Using the word "Israel" or whatever country, instead of "Netanyahu" or better "government", implies that the whole country is at fault, which implies all of the nations people, which leads to generalizations that stoke the (current) fires of division and hatred for a whole country and in fact Jews everywhere, not just Israeli's."
I would say that by using "Netanyahu" instead, as you suggest, implies he is solely responsible, which of course, is ridiculous too. I am not using any particular way of referring to Israel that indicts the entire country's people. Sachs refers to America throughout his speech, and in not the kindest way at that. Does he mean all Americans? Of course not. Is he referring to only the Catholics? Nope. Is he taking a dig at the Lutherans?
Judaism is not the only religion practiced by Israeli citizens. In any case I am not, in any way, implying anything about the Jewish people as you suggest I am. I am adhering to a standard way of speaking about nation states and their actions as has been done by everyone from news reporters to authors of history textbooks. This is the way it has always been done.
3) "It is misdirecting to suggest that ONLY Israel had anything to gain from 9/11."
Please quote the line from my essay where I said that ONLY Israel had anything to gain from 9/11. You won't find it because it isn't there.
Here's what I wrote: "Israeli leadership under Netanyahu had the most to gain by those horrific events"
As you can see, I was very specific, explicitly noting that it was the Israeli leadership under BB (not Israel or the Israeli people) that had the MOST to gain. However you claim that I suggest ONLY Israel had anything to gain. You are misquoting me (WHY?) and by doing so, I suggest that you are the one doing the "misdirecting".
4) "Odigo in 2001 was an American company, not an Israeli one. Anyone can look it up. It's interesting because most people don't do research, they just trust "you""
Odigo was a startup formed by former members of the Israeli Military elite computer security unit, as reported by the NYT in 2000:
It was purchased by an Israeli company in 2002. Its headquarters has always, to my research, been in Israel. It's an Israeli company in my opinion, no matter who happened to have owned it the morning of 9/11/2001. You're welcome to disagree, of course, but I am certainly not trying to mislead anyone.
5) "Until then, agreeing with his views that make Israel (I mean Netanyahu) a war criminal is cherry picking when to agree and when not to agree. It would be more useful to hold back judgement and do more digging rather than using him as the only source for everything he is saying."
I am not using him as the only source for everything he is saying, especially with regard to his accusation that Netanyahu is a war criminal. I explicitly included Sachs's remark that he agrees with the ICC's ruling on this matter. This is hardly cherrypicking. Do you disagree with the International Criminal Court? It's up to you. Sachs is offering his opinion, which he is allowed to do. It just so happens that it is backed up by the ICC.
In any case, you don't have to agree with Professor Sachs or the ten dozen countries that make up the International Criminal Court. In fact, I did not indicate my opinion about Netanyahu at all. I only mentioned it as one of the provocative statements that Sachs made. Am I wrong? If so, please quote the line where I "agree" with Sachs on this.
6) "the US had much to gain as well from 9/11."
Are you saying the US government had much to gain? Or the American people? By your standards you must mean every American, right?
Sachs's argument is that we didn't. Israel did. I think the last two decades confirm that we didn't gain from 9/11 and we didn't have much potential to gain from the jump. There was a stable government in both Iraq and Afghanistan. We were enjoying a relatively peaceful decade prior. GWBush had just given the taxpayers of this country a check because we finally had a budget surplus. The USG spent 6 trillion dollars to destabilize the governments in those countries, killed a million Iraqis, wrecked the lives of thousands of veterans, created an enormous amount of hostility towards us around the world, especially among Arab countries.
Please explain what the US Government had to gain from an attack on the WTC and the Pentagon on 9/11. How did that serve us? And please specify whether you are referring to the USG or the American people.
Sachs is referring to the NEOCONS who have run the US since the 1980s. And are responsible for delights such as 9/11. And death squads in South America.
Wrapping up on Israel, you are correct, it's a Country of millions of people (roughly the size of New Jersey). Government actions rarely consider input/thoughts/feelings/beliefs of their people before taking/making actions.
The article started by discussing Ukraine/Russia & the EU.
Forgetting Sachs for a moment;
Which country enjoys the largest landmass in the world?
With a population roughly the size of Japan (within 10%), the Russian Federation, is the largest country in the world by land area, and extends across eleven time zones.
If, and only if, one wants to compare/associate them with the Roman Catholic Church, what motivation would Russia have to expand further (excepting for the historical Bolshevic times of governance)?
It might be better to actually associate/compare the Imperial/colonial USA with the Catholic Church. When has the USA Government (not its people) ever been satisfied with all the land mass & control it already owns/enjoys?
Is Ukraine a pawn in a NATO (really USA neocons & International Bankers) continual greed based overreach to gain access to all the natural resources Russia enjoys?
The channels to intuition have been blocked by refined oil and other weird stuff one put into themselves. I pray that these channels will be free one day so we all could live better and more satisfactory life on earth. Blessings.
I used to follow the Duran regularly for my foreign affairs news. It was the only place that analysed in depth what was going on with Russia Ukraine and the war. They told the truth about the Ukrainian casualties being ten times the Russian ones, right from the beginning and were frank about the war being inevitably won by Russia, right from the start.
Mercouris family were Greek political activists who knew John Kennedy and fought against fascism in Greece during and after the war. His auntie was a famous political activist, film star and singer.
During the Axis occupation of Greece, Stamatis Mercouris founded the resistance organisation Rizospastiki Organosis ("Radical Organisation") in January 1942.
Mercouris background suggests to me that the Duran is a largely trustworthy source. It is very good on foreign affairs which are hardly reported now on the MSM.
Sachs seems to know these two well. I cannot think that he would have spoken as he did in the EU parliament without backing of some sort, probably from Trump.
In any case Europe and the US are parting company now, NATO is falling apart, and our skies are clear of geoengineered clouds for the first time in three years.
Sachs was the architect of the disastrous economic restructuring of Russia. I suppose anyone can make a mistake.
Sachs does not seem to realise that the EU has gone along with the covid project so they must be controlled...but I am wondering now, how much? If NATO splits from the US where will that leave us? (I am in the UK. I would be glad for US influence to leave Europe, we have effectively been a colony of the US since the eighties, and probably since WW2)
As I said the skies are clear since Trump and the EU fell out so the geoengineering was clearly a joint NATO/US project.
The Duran know about the vaccine issues but do not discuss them online.
This reads to me more like a shutting down of a covert scheme not acceptance and go-ahead.
They know that many people realise the spraying has already been done, and they are preparing the ground, the climate change narrative, and the excuses, for the closing down of these schemes.
I have frequently told my MP in my letters that people know this is being done.
In addition 25 US states are preparing legal actions to try to stop it over the US.
This can not be kept secret - so someone will be answerable.
The people who authorised this scheme are criminally liable and they know it. God knows what they have sprayed on us. Aluminium salts are toxic by inhalation. This article reads like they are manufacturing the excuses and concocted narrative to cover their arses when questions are asked of them in future.
Funny that you wrote. I also came to reply to you and ask how your sky is today. :)
Ours is the same, no sky, just this grayish thick blanket, very low luminosity. We cannot even see the outline of the sun.
Yes, I have quit legacy media (no tv licence) since Chomsky's Manufacturing consent which I read in grad school, but I keep a quarter of an eye on it so that I know about the current propaganda and where the-powers-that-should-not-be want to focused our attention. But, this piece was brought to my attention by somebody else who is a keen follower of the developments in geo engineering.
What you mean the skies are clear in the Uk? It's as bad as before. It's either a nice early morning sky which then gets sprayed over by 9am, or beautiful clear night sky to wake up to this thick regularly patterned off white smear that the sun cannot dissipate. I have tons of photos of these monstrosities.
I am in the south, on the coast, live on a hill facing the sea, and I can see fifty miles of sky each way from my windows. Since the spat with Trump the skies have cleared. In the last three years I have seen the geoengineering being done over my home, and have been writing to my MP for two years about this.
I am sorry you are not as lucky. My contacts in Oxford say the same - clear skies.
Something has changed.
This substack has a useful list of the efforts in the US to stop this.
I am also in the south (7 miles from sea) and the sky is as I described. Horrible. Today & yesterday we had real clouds p. A week ago, we had one week of spring with very little spraying but not zero.
And we also had a few strange things lately like extremely strong wind only during the night. It always started between 11pm/mindnight. Then no sky in the morning. It was 100% predictable.
We started documenting the sky at the start of the CONvid so that we can have a proper discussion with friends and colleagues.
Re your "Here is my general approach. I ask myself" points - that says a lot about you and your mindset. I take it to mean you're asking us to look at it sensibly and rationally versus emotionally and with strong attachments to our existing biases. I'm going to keep a copy of that to share with others. My forget to give you credit, but doubt you'll mind.
Thanks for highlighting Sachs address to the EU Parliament. It’s a shock to hear a trusted advisor to power call out the nonsense of the propaganda we are fed. Seeing our media for what it is gives legitimacy to re-examining the reality obfuscated by layers of propaganda, including 9/11 and the pandemic. It was uplifting to hear Sachs address. Thanks again for drawing attention to it and seeing the big picture

So does 'Peace".

Preach! Truth has many emissaries.
Mr Sachs is absolutely right! This insanity of war after war, one after the other is completely unnecessary!
Unless those responsible are seeking other powers of which they do not, nor should they have!
These wars are all about power! Power as in
“New World Order” style power and control over the masses! But first, the power-war-mongers must have resources as in land, rare earth minerals, etc.
The institutions which seek war also seek power! Jeffery Sachs is right.
May God Bless America and The Entire World!

Sara,
You gonna have to get back to class. LOL
Someone forgot to include 'religion' in the educational cocktail of greed/power/control/assets/land/etc.
Roman Catholic Church (as well as those that infiltrated it during Julius Caesar's time) rings a bell for me.
All organized religions!

The good old US of A.
Mad since the McCarthy years.
EM,
Great share. Thank you.
Yes, lots to unpack.
Wrapping up on Israel, you are correct, it's a Country of millions of people (roughly the size of New Jersey). Government actions rarely consider input/thoughts/feelings/beliefs of their people before taking/making actions.
The article started by discussing Ukraine/Russia & the EU.
Forgetting Sachs for a moment;
More to learn.
Best and blessings.
The channels to intuition have been blocked by refined oil and other weird stuff one put into themselves. I pray that these channels will be free one day so we all could live better and more satisfactory life on earth. Blessings.
Professor Sachs frequently speaks on the Duran, a politics forum run by Alex Christofouru and Alex Mercouris.
Geopolitics, peace and chaos w/ Jeffrey Sachs (Live)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cbFvPFgJW5c&ab_channel=TheDuran
I used to follow the Duran regularly for my foreign affairs news. It was the only place that analysed in depth what was going on with Russia Ukraine and the war. They told the truth about the Ukrainian casualties being ten times the Russian ones, right from the beginning and were frank about the war being inevitably won by Russia, right from the start.
Mercouris family were Greek political activists who knew John Kennedy and fought against fascism in Greece during and after the war. His auntie was a famous political activist, film star and singer.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Melina_Mercouri
Plenty of chemtrails still here in Maine!
Here they are manufacturing the plebs consent https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2025/mar/12/solar-geoengineering-uk
I am not sure about that, it's double speak to me.
Time will tell.
Thanks for the link to the Guardian article. I cannot bear MSM any longer so I would have missed it.
Unfortunately low cloud here today - how disappointing, so you could be right.
This substack has a useful list of the efforts in the US to stop this.
https://jonfleetwood.substack.com/p/tennessee-files-two-new-chemtrail
I am also in the south (7 miles from sea) and the sky is as I described. Horrible. Today & yesterday we had real clouds p. A week ago, we had one week of spring with very little spraying but not zero.
And we also had a few strange things lately like extremely strong wind only during the night. It always started between 11pm/mindnight. Then no sky in the morning. It was 100% predictable.
We started documenting the sky at the start of the CONvid so that we can have a proper discussion with friends and colleagues.
I am in Sussex and it is clear from horizon to horizon 100miles.
The past ten days have been extraordinary - clouds yes, but normal ones and many periods of totally blue sky. No haze.
Remember that clouds are also normal. Cumulus etc. What is not normal is whiteout haze.
They are still spraying in the US and the shit they put up lingers in the atmosphere for weeks so some will drift across the Atlantic.

More need to look into International Bank of Settlements...August Carstens....this bank is at the root of so much
You mean its owners? All banks are privately owned. That poor, miserably sick Carstens is merely a minion.
Somehow Israel and Rothschild are likely involved...
