My gut tells me that between now and August 19 we will see a sea change in the liberal media attitude toward RFK Jr. Short of election fraud exceeding even that seen in 2020, there is no one in the DP cesspit that can defeat Donald Trump.
I'm not a US voter, but if I was, I'd never vote for anyone who is pro-abortion like the Kennedy guy or Biden.
Kennedy's position on abortion is nuanced. He comes at from a medical autonomy perspective. Fundamentally he believes that the government should not have a role.
However we can see that for many, there are two lives involved, not one. How does one approach another who sees it differently than you? Insist that they must follow your convictions and beliefs and not theirs?
It's a very difficult ethical quandary. He believes that if given enough education and resources abortion rates will fall.

Sorry, but RFK is dreaming if he thinks there’s a chance he could win. Look carefully at the electoral college rules. Some states are not required to assign by popular vote. A third party simply cannot win, even if RFK smashed the popular vote. And he can’t do that either; many hard L voters would vote for a stick it it had a D attached, and many on the R are determined to give DT his chance. The most RFK can accomplish is keep any candidate from getting to 270 and send the decision to the newly elected House. That may not (will not?) end well. The only chance of overcoming the election ‘irregularities’ is to vote for the R candidate in massive numbers. Please think twice before splitting the vote, no matter how much you like RFK Jr. (The fact that he has to know that a third party cannot possibly win - he qualified for 8 state ballots I think - makes me wonder if he’s in as a spoiler. IDK.)

He has said he considers Trump the lesser threat, despite differing more on tangential culture war issues. So, if he really believed he has no chance, would he not take up Trump's VP offer, and ensure an overwhelming Trump victory, as well as a wide open door to the 2028 presidency?

The way out of this mess:
1. Create an easy system for real money: private currencies/warrants based on real assets, goods, services, etc. (gold, corn, oil, distance/volume/weight transportation, labor human hour/minute, etc.)
2. Ban legal tender. Let the free markets decide which real-currencies/valuables/warrants they prefer to trade with
3. Ban paper-backed currencies (unlike real-backed ones of point 1.)
4. Enforce a Legal Banking Reserve of 100% of deposits (so banks don't create money based on air) and therefore there's no excuse for a Central Bank, because there would be no risk of bank-runs since all their loans are fully backed with deposits

Yes. The 'organized' debate was an embarrassment and a sham. There are other considerations and there ARE other candidates beside RKF jr who already disqualifited himself in my book for a number of glaring commissions but I will skip that for now. Two other candidates who are being ignored (nothing new here) are Dr Jill Stein of the Green Party and Scott Horton of the Libertarian Party. THIS is where the problems exist and Kennedy touched on that. NO media coverage of any of these people. None. Americans have been denied the right to listen to several candidates that might, if not gain their votes, at least offer other views of issues critical to us all.
Also, I would like to point out that this is NOT the 'first time' that the debates have been run by a private organization. On the contrary, the debates were, for years, sponsored by and moderated by the League of Women Voters until around 1988 when the Uniparty decided allowing contenders to the duopoly just wouldn't stand. At that time, Nancy Neuman, then president of LWV released a statement whereby she said, essentially, due to the interference of the legacy parties, their shenanigans in the design and output of the debates, would no longer take part in the 'bamboozling of the American public'. There and then the LWV withdrew and a 'corporation' for the presidential debates was formed.

The only governments I trust derive from free association of people who form and run it, with sensible cooperation between the governments within a region, many of which may overlap in terms of territory. Or maybe one can call me Libertarian, in that I see a sound constitution with defined inalienable rights as the best basis for matters that are larger in scope..
But I more strongly believe in being realistic, that the best we can do now is restore our Constitutional rights, that RFK Jr would drop out if he didn't believe he has a realistic chance of winning.
I see Stein as way too far on the end of the ideological spectrum to garner significant support, though I'd much prefer her to anybody but RFK Jr and perhaps Marianne Williamson. Though I voted Green in 2016, if memory serves, as I voted for Lenore Fulani in 1988, not liking either choice who had a chance those years enough to care.

I don't know him personally, but I have spoken to him behind closed doors on a number of occasions and am good friends with people who know him very well and are in his inner circle. I also have read several of his books and have worked for his organization, Children's Health Defense for over a year during the pandemic.
None of what you say can be reconciled with my own personal experience with the man. I am willing to change my mind but you're going to have to come up with more than unsubstantiated statements.

I don't trust him, nor really any of the candidates, but at least Trump says and does what I consider mostly the right thing. I can only excuse his operation warp speed on the basis of being the least damaging way of waking up the people to big pharma and the systemic corruption/fascism of the banker-corporate-government cabal and their UN/WEF/WHO/NWO. I understand why most people fell for the jab or was coerced, but they always had a choice and could have stood their ground.
